New: Submit Your MCard Photo Online with MCard Connect

MCard Connect is a new secure online portal that allows cardholders to upload a preferred headshot for their MCard before visiting an issuing station.

Using MCard Connect, individuals can:

  • Log in using their U-M credentials
  • Review photo requirements
  • Upload a preferred photo
  • Receive confirmation and approval emails throughout the process

Current MCard holders may upload a photo at no cost, which would then update the photo any place digital MCard photos are used, such as class rosters. If a new MCard is desired but is not up for renewal, a $20 replacement fee will be charged. 

Remember

Campus MCards may be renewed free of charge up to 60 days before expiration. Requests submitted earlier than 60 days before expiration may be subject to a $20 replacement fee.

Michigan Medicine MCards may be renewed up to 30 days before expiration and cannot be renewed earlier.

Cardholders may submit their photo online in advance of their visit to an MCard Issuing Station. Eligible photos can also be reviewed and approved on-site by Issuing Station staff if needed.
