Verification of Employment Service – New Ways to Submit Requests!

The Shared Services Center has added the functionality to allow active employees to submit verification of employment requests via the SSC website.

Active employees can now submit requests for an employment verification letter, Public Service Loan Forgiveness certification, Department of Health & Human Services employment verification, Perkins Loans completion, and other requests using eforms found on the SSC website.

Employees must be logged-in using their U-M credentials to access these eforms. These improvements allow employees to upload any forms requiring verification of employment. Active employees completing the SSC eforms will no longer need to provide a separate verification release form.

These eforms are not available to former employees. Former employees should submit your verification of employment requests via U.S. Mail or fax to the address below:

Please note: The SSC is unable to provide information/comment on the following items: specific information on academic appointments, U-M student verifications, visa letters/travel letters, credentialing/privileging requests for medical staff, evaluation questions, leaves of absence, reason for termination, verification of future employment, continuation of employment or future earnings, and specific job descriptions or duties.
