Due to the campus-wide systems outage, the SSC is not able to perform most transactions. For emergency requests, please send an email to sharedservices@umich.edu, messages are being monitored and we will assist as we are able.

Need to call the SSC?

The HR and Finance Call Center phone queues are open today and we are taking calls. Please note that we are limited by what systems are available and may not be able to answer inquiries that depend on accessing systems that are still offline.

Is I-9 processing available?

All I-9 centers remain open. New I-9 appointments can be scheduled and I-9s are being completed.  However, I-9 data entry into Mpathways is delayed. 

Is the background check process impacted?

Background checks are being processed for Children on Campus. Additionally, background checks can be requested ahead of job offer processing to support instructional needs and student operations only.  Each request will be evaluated on a case by case basis and should be submitted using this eForm
