Enroll in my benefits
Newly hired or newly eligible benefits enrollment are completed online. Here are some quick directions to get you started:
- Go to Wolverine Access Gateway (wolverineaccess.umich.edu)
- Enter “Benefits” in the search bar
- Click Search
- Enter your uniqname and UMICH (Level-1) password; Two-factor (Duo) for Weblogin is required
- Click the Benefits Self-Service tile
Change my benefits
Already enrolled, but need to make a change to your benefits? Each year, employees have the opportunity to make changes to their benefit plan elections during the annual Open Enrollment period. Otherwise changes may only be made if an employee experiences a qualified family status change such as: birth, marriage, job termination, etc. The changes allowed are different for each event. There are many reasons you may want to change your benefits mid-year outside of open enrollment. Listed below are links to specific life events requiring you to update your benefits.
Open Enrollment
Every year, usually in late October, you have the opportunity to review your benefits and make changes for the upcoming year online for your health, dental, vision, legal services plans and flexible spending accounts. You will receive an email from The Benefits Office when Open Enrollment books are available online in early October or contact the HR Contact Center at 734-615-2000, press 1 for Open Enrollment information.
